Class 2: Dragon Machine - January 2025

Designing and labelling a dragon machine.

Class 4: MacBeth - October 2025

The children acted out scenes from MacBeth and created freeze frames of key moments in the play.

Class 2: World Book Day - March 2026

The children in class 2 completed a Word Hunt - finding given words in a selection of fiction and non-fiction books. They dressed up as their favourite characters and created their own front covers and blurbs about stories they would like to read. 

Class 4: Wild West Narratives - March 2026

The children peer edited their Wild West Narratives, improving and correcting their spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Class 4: World Book Day - March 2026

The children played a book game, they rolled a dice and had to peer read a page from a book they hadn’t tried before, the children swapped books and tried to discover new books that they would like to read for pleasure.

Class 3: World Book Day - March 2026

World Book Day was a fantastic celebration of reading, with children arriving dressed as their favourite book characters and bringing stories to life across the school. Throughout the day, they shared and discussed their favourite books, explaining why they enjoy them and recommending them to others. They also designed their own creative book covers, showing great imagination and flair. A brilliant day that truly celebrated a love of reading!

Class 4: Bugsy Malone Performance - July 2026

The children performed exceptionally well in our production of Bugsy Malone. They demonstrated confidence, resilience and enthusiasm throughout, learning lines, songs and choreography while working together as a supportive team. Their commitment and hard work were evident in every performance, and they entertained the audience with their energy, humour and talent. We are incredibly proud of all the children for embracing the challenge and showcasing the wonderful spirit of our school.
